The Pirates of Penzence

It was hilarious.
It was genius.
It was piratey.....

Good show.
I loved it.
=]

These are just a few of the children that sang for us at intermission, the call themselves "The pirates who don't do anything"

Keith Nisbett directed the 10 piece orchestra, which almost stole the show. Yes, they were that good.

The Nisbett family, who started Fine Linen Drama, and who direct and administrate the whole of it, they have pictures Here and Here and Here and Here and Here.

A few notes, and more to come.

I had the awesome opportunity of driving to Missouri with my two sisters, Keturah and Naomi, and spending the weekend with my grandparents. We went to see the Pirates of Penzance, a Fine Linen Production along with Rachel and Tom, and saw our amazingly talented friends perform on stage. This musical was hilarious to watch and I had an blast that evening watching everyone act out their role in the play. Good job everyone!

I did take a few pictures of the show, and I shall post them later, but for now; check out this nest I saw while staying at my grandparents house. It's just another clue that Sping/Summer weather is here. Despite the cold, rainy weather we are receiving at the moment.

A blue bird nest, that is my guess.
Blue eggs = blue birds.

It feels like summer.

And it is nice to have a park less than a mile away.

A few pictures I had taken from when Hosanna and Caleb were here with us. We had gone to a State Park.

Seth's Basketball

Seth played on a basketball team for a short season. Here are some pictures from that time.

Video from Christmas.

So, as always, I have taken FOREVER to get anything up. (Hey. . . I'm trying you know!!) I had some misc video clips taken at Christmas that I put together. So here it is, and that way you all can have something more interesting to look at than my boring pictures. haha

Personally, I think this video is hilarious. But that may just be because I'm apart of this family. . . . check it out anyway.

Did you notice that I have more footage of the kids than the adults? That's because everyone was in pj's and told me not to show anything of them. haha
And I tried! But hey, it was impossible to cut everything out.

Christmas Concert in Martinsville.

The band and choir Christmas concert went well. We break over the next few weeks for the holidays. Starting in January again preparing for the Louisville, KY competition in March.

To close the program, both the Elementary and High school Choir sang a song together.

Arts Garden Choir Performance

The down-town Indianapolis mall has an annual "Mistletoe Music Festival". Bands and choirs can come and play in a certain time slot. Both the band and choir that we are involved in performed. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures from the band performance.
As you can see by the pictures, it really is a nice place. Since it's more or less a bridge over the road it provides a nice view.

It was also a nice snowy day. :)

Thanksgiving at Grandma Tice's house.

I kept meaning to post some pictures from the Thanksgiving at Grandma Tices' house. And I wanted them on BEFORE Christmas. :0

Here they are:

The kids were building paper airplanes and throwing them through the fire. It was pretty cool, the airplanes would get close to the fire, and then the hot air would hit then out and away.

Games, games, games. Inside and outside.

The annual bonfire is one of the many traditions for the Tice Thanksgiving. This year we had three such fires, and they were ginormous. We had to stand really far back in order to not get burned. :) Amazing, huh?

We created a bunch of fire silhouettes, here are a couple.

Some of us slept outside. And when we woke up, and there was snow on the ground. FREEZE! It was cold.
